In the course of our daily lives, there are several objects that form an indispensable part of our routine and that, therefore, we use every day, whether for hygiene or for eating, among the main reasons. When it comes to food, in addition to plates, glasses and various utensils, it is especially at breakfast or snack time, but also at other times of the day, that we use cups of different shapes, designs and sizes.
Particularly when pouring certain drinks into our cups, it can happen that, over time, the same ingredients cause the appearance of small stains, but also others that are very noticeable, and which at first glance give the cup a dirty appearance.
Therefore, to prevent the stain from permanently remaining on the inside or outside surface of the mug, it is essential to act immediately, using certain cleaning products to make them spotless.
If you have used various products and methods so far and the result is not as expected, don’t worry, because in this article we are going to share three old wives’ tricks that are ideal for leaving your cups of tea as good as new, and which were shared by the TikTok user “Hogar Diez” (@hogardiez).
The first of these involves placing a good amount of white vinegar in your cups, and then adding plenty of hot water on top. You will have to let this mixture stand for 10 minutes, and then you will discard it. With a brush, you will have to clean and rinse each cup. Once this step is completed, you will be able to see the incredible result before your eyes.
The second alternative is white stone. You simply have to put a little on your scouring pad and then apply it to the cup or mug. Then rinse with plenty of water to finish.
In third and last place we have another ingredient that is widely used when cleaning various surfaces: we are referring to sodium bicarbonate. Therefore, you will place a good amount of bicarbonate on your cups of coffee and add hot water on top. Mix well until a kind of paste is formed and you will use a scouring pad to clean thoroughly. Rinse with plenty of water as a final step.
